Cricketers arrive in Kandy for SLC T20 League

All national cricketers selected to play in the Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) T20 League reached Kandy yesterday. The tournament will commence on Thursday and will continue till August 24.

However, Bhanuka Rajapakse and Charith Asalanka were not part of the contingent as both are still nursing injuries following the recent T20 series against India.

Meanwhile, SLC yesterday named three Match Referees Ravi Punchihewa, Nalliah Devarajan and T. H. R. Priyantha for this tournament.

In addition, the umpires are Kottahachchi brothers Rohitha and Ravindra, Deepal Gunawardena, Hemantha Boteju and Keerthi Bandara.

Dasun Shanaka (SLC Greys), Dhananjaya de Silva (SLC Blues), Ashan Priyanjan (SLC Greens) and Dinesh Chandimal (SLC Reds) will lead the four teams in this tournament.
