Final verdict on SLHF AGM on Aug. 20

The final decision on the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Sri Lanka Hockey Federation (SLHF) case filed at the Court of Appeal is scheduled for August 20.

The State Services HA accrued a writ order from the District Court to halt the AGM of the SLHF, citing the non-eligibility of some of the office-bearers who contested.

The rival party in return made an appeal challenging the decision and after several sitting the writ order was relaxed and the final decision will be made on the stipulated date. (AN)
