Pottuvil Gold Star Youth Club beat Tri Star Youth Club, Pottuvil 1:0 in the final and emerged champions of the Pottuvil Inter Divisional Youth football tournament conducted by the Pottuvil Divisional Secretariat Youth Services Unit at the Pasarichenai Public Play Grounds in Pottuvil recently.This tournament was organized by the Pottuvil Divisional Secretariat Youth Services Officer K.Zameer successfully to mark the 33rd National Youth Sports Meet-2021.The football tournament was held as a part of Pottuvil inter division sports meet -2021.
Registered youth clubs took part at this tournament. The Pottuvil Gold Star Youth Club and Tri Star Youth Club teams qualified for the final.
The competition was held in a active and enthusiastic manner. Coach N.A.Afrin, School Sports Coaches M.M.Sahrin, M.S.Farzan and M.J.Femi Ahamed served as referees in this final match.
The champion players of this competition will have to contest at Ampara district level competition which will be conducted by the National Youth Services Council.
