St. John’s College (NS), Panadura recorded three victories in cricket by beating three strong school teams, said the Principal of St. John’s National School, Panadura, Mrs. Sandhya Weerasinghe.
St.John’s College in their first match, recorded victory over St. Peter’s College, Negombo by 98 runs. and again for the second time Johnians won by another big 204-run margin in their under 19 Div ll, match against Galahitiyawa Central at the St. John’s College playgrounds.
Finally St. John’s lads, tamed Kalutara Vidyalaya, a very famous cricket playing school in Kalutara convincingly by a 177-run win.
St. John’s cricket team, is trained by their MIC Deepal Jayathissa,coached by Nalaka Chathuranga and assisted by Manoj Nirosha. the team was well supported by Deepal Jayathissa andwe are really very proud of our team’s recent cricketing achievement, said the Principal Mrs Sandhya Weerasinghe
