Vaas Fast Bowling Coach for WI series

Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) yesterday appointed Chaminda Vaas as the National Team’s Fast Bowling Coach for the upcoming Tour of the West Indies.

His appointment comes following the resignation of David Saker, who was the National Fast Bowling Coach.

Vaas currently serves as a Fast Bowling Coach at the High-Performance Centre of SLC, working with Emerging and National Team Players.

During his illustrious career for Sri Lanka, Vaas captured 355 Test wickets from 111 matches and also 400 One Day International wickets from 322 games.
