Under-23 Cricket to start on March 4

The Inter Club T20 Cricket Tournament, Conducted by Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) will commence on March 4 with the participation of 26 teams.

The teams are slated in four groups where they will meet each other before the top two teams qualify for the quarter-finals.

Colombo Cricket Club are the reigning champions, while Chilaw Marians SC were the runners-up last year.

The teams

Group ‘A’: Badureliya CC, CCC, BRC, Negombo CC, Galle CC, Nugegoda S and WC, Kandy Customs CC.

Group ‘B’: NCC, Colts CC, Air Force SC, Lankan CC, SLPA SC, Bloomfield.

Group ‘C’: Chilaw MCC, SSC, Moors SC, Police SC, Kalutara TC, Kurunegala YCC.

Group ‘D’: Ragama CC, Army SC, Saracens SC, Panadura CC, Tamil Union, Navy SC, Sebastianites SC (A.N)
