Kumarana House captain receives the Championship Cup from the Chief Guest member of the National Vollayball Team, and old student of Pothupitiya MV, Lasantha Abeyratne with the participation of principal Pushpa Chandani, Sports Teacher Arosha Mendis and Coach Lahiru Kumara Jayashantha. The Annual Inter House sports meet organized by the Sports Unit under the instructions of Principal of Pothupitiya MV, Wadduwa was held at the School playground recently.

Overall championship Cup for the total of 580 points was won by Kumarana House while Runner-up cup was won by Parakrama House which had gathered the total of 422 points Rahula House was placed third with 419 points .

The event was organized by the school's sports teacher Mrs. Arosha Mendis with the assistance of Sports Coach Lahiru Kumara Jayashantha, under the instructions of the Principal Pushpa Chandani.

Medals, Certificates and awards for the winners were distributed by the chief guest, Veteran Athlete and (a veteran volley ball player) an old students of the school Lasantha Abeyrathna with the principal.
