Four karatekas of Vishaka Balika Vidyalaya, Colombo won four medals at the 5th South Asian Karate Tournament held in Dhaka, Bangalidesh recently. They won one gold medal and three bronze medals.
Chathuni Mandini won the gold medal in the under 17 individual kumite event.
Bronze medals winners were Lithara Perera and Himansa Zoysa (Under 21 individual kumite event) and Dewmi Parindya (Under 21 Teams kumite event).
