Semi-finalists found in MCA Inter-Academy Under15 League

Unbeaten, CCC, SSC and Asoka de Silva along with Colombo Premier teams advanced to the semi-finals of the ongoing ‘DFCC Junior’ 14th MCA Inter Academy U-15/30 Over League Tournament 2019.

In the quarter-finals that were worked off on December 17, CCC scored a ‘cake walk’ 177 runs win over Brendon Kuruppu. SSC edged out Sasitha Amarasinghe by 01 wicket.

Colombo Premier ended Swingers unbeaten run beating them by 06 runs and Asoka de Silva scored an impressive 04 wickets win over the host, MCA ‘Blue’.

The top performers were: Sahan Dabare (88 runs), Praveen Kumarapperuma (81) and B. Gimhana (5 for 16) all from CCC Vs. Brendon Kuruppu and Dasun Perera from Swingers (5 for 36 Vs. Col. Premier)
