Mahanama advance to quarter finals

Mahanama College, Colombo advanced to the quarter finals of the Singer Trophy Under 17 Division One inter-school cricket tournament yesterday.

Mahanama College beat De Mazenod College, Kandana by three runs according to parabola method in the pre-quarter final played at Kandana. The match got off to a delayed start with only 40 overs per side being played. De Mazenod were bowled out 193 runs. The match was called off due to bad light. Mahanama scored 180 runs in 38 overs.
