Fine century by Hivin Caldera

A splendid knock of 100 runs by Hivin Caldera guided Royal College Colombo to beat St. Mary’s College, Chilaw on bonus points and to book a berth in the third round of the all island under 13 division two cricket tournament conducted by Sri Lanka Schools Cricket Association in Colombo.

Hivin had fifteen hits to the ropes and faced 120 balls and was associated in a fifth wicket partnership of 170 runs with Anus Polonowita who scored 80 runs.

Batting first Royalists declared at 317 for 6 in 83 over and they occupied the crease almost the whole day and Marians were 19 for no loss at stumps in ten overs.

St. Mary’s College - 19/0 in 10 overs.
