Clean Sweep for Brayan Perera at ‘AMG Speed at Night’

Brayan Perera with his awards

19-year Brayan Perera dominated the weekend in the Formula McLaren’s 1300 EFI category at Pannala. Brayan Perera started the weekend by pulling out a stunner of a lap and qualified on pole position.

He was 1.122 seconds clear of the next best driver Chandima Gooneratne of Hellibees Racing. It was an exciting first race as the heavens opened on the Pannala International Circuit just seconds before the start.

The track was damp and the drivers were oblivious to the condition of the track. However Brayan Perera was on top of his game since the start of the race, as he was able to pull away from the rest of the pack, showcasing incredible pace and took the chequered flag comfortably in 1st place.

The 2nd race brought a different challenge for the drivers as half of the track was dry and half was wet. But this didn’t seem to bother his momentum as again Brayan was able to pull away from the pack and finished the weekend in style by bagging his second victory.

Brayan Perera is currently driving in the Formula 4 LGB and the Formula BMW series in the JkTyre National Racing Championship.

He is competing against the finest Indian drivers and is also learning from reputed drivers such as Akbar Ebrahim and Armaan Ebrahim.
