Supersonic Bullets team, Addalaichenai beat Supersonic Spartan team, Addalaichenai by 5 runs in the final to emerge champions of the Supersonic Premier League-2021 limited over cricket tournament conducted by Supersonic Sports Club, Addalaichenai at the Addalaichenai Ashraff Memorial Public Grounds recently.
The Addalaichenai Supersonic Sports Club President M.I.M.Ashraff has organized this tournament while Supersonic Challengers team, Supersonic Bullets team and Supersonic Spartan team took part in the tournament.
Supersonic Bullets team won the toss and bat first and was skittled out for 59 runs in their seven overs. In reply Supersonic Bullets team, only scored 54/7 in the seven overs. Man of the match was A.M.Rihab Ahamed and the Man of the Series was A.M. Rifky of Supersonic Bullets team. The awards ceremony was held under the patronage of the Addalaichenai Supersonic Sports Club President M.I.M. Ashraff .
Digamadulla District Parliamentarian Faizal Cassim was the chief guest and Eastern Province former Road Development Minister M.S.Udumalebbe and tournament sponsors, Supersonic Sports Club Advisor I.L.Haroon, were present at the award ceremony.
Addalaichenai Supersonic Sports Club General Secretary and Addalaichenai National College of Education Lecturer A.R.M.Sathique, Vice-President of the club I.L.Munaf, founder members of the club and club officials were also present on this occasion.
