The local Cricket has come to the fore once again after a lapse of one and a half years and an under 15 T/20 Inter Academy Cricket Match was worked off between Piliyandala Town Sports Club Cricket Academy and G.M.A. Cricket Club Academy Moratuwa at Piliyandala. Batting first homesters scored 156 for 5 with Pasindu Pushpakumara scoring 42 runs and in reply G.M.A. Cricket Club Academy collapsed for 45 runs with Shehan Rashmika Perera claiming 5 for 15. The second T/20 game was washed out due to rain. In the second game Tharun Thamesh was unbeaten on 50 for the visitors.
