Sri Lanka’s Dulmina Ravihansa won the third place in the Under-10 category of the Italy Youth Chess Championships held in salsomaggiore Italy recently.
With this performance, Ravihansa also qualified to compete in the europe youth Chess Championships.
Nearly 650 competitors participated in this event. The nine-year old will get the opportunity to compete in international tournaments with this achievement.
He is a student of St. Joseph’s International School in Milano. Dulmina appreciates the support he received from his parents, coach and school.
