Handover of sports complex to NSA

The Bandaragama Sports Complex

The Sports Ministry is planning to handover some of their sports complex owned by the Sports Development Department to the National Sports Associations (NSA) to conduct their regular sports activities.

Accordingly, the Matara District Sports Complex will be handed over to the National Gymnastics Federation, Attanagalla Sports Complex to Kabaddi Federation, and the Bandaragama Sports Complex to Table Tennis Association of Sri Lanka.

Already, the Sports Ministry have handed over the Dadalla Sports Complex in Galle to the Sri Lanka Football Federation for their training as well as for the conducting of tournaments.

Meanwhile, the Sports Ministry is planning to handover the Ratnapura Sports Complex and the Gampaha Sports Complex to the National Paralympic Committee of Sri Lanka (NPCSL).

The Sports Ministry has already allocated more than Rs. 500m for the development of sports infrastructure facilities in the country.
