Chandimal to play in Everest Premier League

Sri Lanka wicket-keeper batsman Dinesh Chandimal has been roped in by franchise team Bhairahawa Gladiators for the upcoming season of Everest Premier League to be held in Nepal.

The 31-year old will join hands with Sharad Vesawkar, captain of the Gladiators team and former Sri Lankan Coach Pubudu Dassanayake who will join the Gladiators team as the Head Coach.

The Everest Premier League 2021 is set to commence on September 25 and will be played until October 9.

This will be Chandimal’s second appearance in a foreign T20 franchise tournament, having represented Rajasthan Royals in the Indian Premier League.

Chandimal who has represented Sri Lanka in 62 Tests, 149 ODIs, and 57 T20Is will bring vast experience with him to the Gladiators Team.
