Sri Lanka third at BNP World Tennis Tourney

The Sri Lanka Wheelchair Tennis Team had to be content with the third place at the 2021 BNP Paribas World Team Cup Qualification event held in Portugal recently.

Sri Lanka lost to Israel 1-2 in the semi-finals but they finished third after defeating Greece 2-0 in the third-place encounter.

Teams from 29 countries took part at this event.

The Sri Lanka Team comprised of Gamini Dissanayake, D. S. R. Dharmasena and Suresh Ranaweera. (D.R)
