Ireland have announced a 15-member squad, which will be led by Laura Delany, for the upcoming four-match T20I series against Scotland.
The two sides have met 14 times in Women’s T20Is, with Ireland winning 11 games, Scotland twice, and one no result.
They will face an action-packed series that consists of four T20Is between May 23 and 27. All the matches will be played in Stormont behind closed doors.
Ava Canning, Georgina Dempsey, Amy Hunter, Jenny Sparrow and Jane Maguire all have a chance to make their T20I debuts.
All have been called upon the back of their performance in the Arachas Super Series – the domestic competition. Carrie Archer, the Chair of the National Women’s Selector, hoped that the young squad could make an impact ahead of the ICC Qualifiers.
