Niluka and Hasini steal the limelight at Badminton Nationals

Niluka Karunaratne and Hasini Ambalangodage won a double crown each at the 68th National Badminton Championships, worked off at the Mercantile Badminton Association Indoor Stadium in Colombo.

Karunaratne clinched the Men’s Singles title and also won the Men’s Doubles title together with his brother Dinuka Karunaratne.

Meanwhile, Hasini also had the satisfaction of winning two titles at the Nationals as she bagged the Women’s Singles and the Women’s Doubles title along with partner Kavidi Sirimannage.
