David Saker

National Fast Bowling Coach David Saker announced his resignation from his position, with immediate effect, a Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) media release stated yesterday.

The 54-year-old former Australian First-Class cricketer, who joined SLC in December 2019, had cited personal reasons for his decision, the media release added further.

Earlier SLC’s Sports Science and Medicine Manager Paul Khoury also tendered his resignation on January 31 for same reasons.

Khoury joined SLC on February 15 2018 and was based at the SLC High-Performance Centre.
