Outstanding athlete Insab and coach Afrij Rila felicitated

Outstanding  athlete J.M.Insab a native of Kalmunai and Athletic Coach and Kalmunai Zahira College Physical Education Teacher A.M.Afrij Rila received awards at the annual Sport’s Colours Awards Ceremony-2020 held at the Ampara Hardy Technical College Auditorium  recently.  Eastern Province Education, IT Education, Pre School Education, Sports, Cultural Affairs, Youth Affairs and Rehabilitation  and Reconstruction Ministry Secretary  I.K.G.Muthubanda presided over this function on the invitation of Eastern Province Sports Department Director N.M.Nowfees.  

Eastern Province Governor Anuradha Yahampath was the chief guest and presented awards to the players at the ceremony. J.M.Insab won second place and secured silver medal in the Relay 4x100m event at the 45th National Sports Festival in 2019 and brought fame to Eastern Province. 

Digamadulla District Parliamentarian Thilak Rajapaksa, Eastern Provincial Council Chairman Chandradasa Galapathy and Eastern Province Chief Secretary Thusitha P Wanigasinghe, Ampara District Secretary D.M.L.Bandara Nayakke, Trincomalee District Secretary J.S.D.M.Asanka  Abeywardena,  graced the ceremony.
