Akkaraipattu DS division won the Ampara district inter divisional beach volleyball tournament beating Sainthamaruthu DS division in the final at the Karathivu Beach recently.
This tournament was organized by the Ampara District National Youth Services Council (NYSC), while 10 Divisional Secretariat divisions participated. The Akkaraipattu DS division and Sainthamaruthu DS division qualified for the final.
The champions team have been selected for the upcoming Easter Province Inter District beach volleyball championship-2020 said Akkaraipattu Divisional Secretariat Youth Services Officer Zameelul Ilahi.
Ampara District Youth Services Officer A.Mubarak Ali, Youth Services Officers and youths were in attendance.
