A fine match bag of 10 for 114 (6/36 and 4/78) by fifteen year old allrounder Vihas Thewmika who bowls off spin was of no avail as Thurstan College drew with Prince of Wales College in their inter school first eleven cricket match played at Moratuwa. However Thrustanties grabbed the major honours of this encounter by leading on first innings by 147 runs.
Batting first cambrians collapsed for 137 runs and Thuritanties declared at 284 for 7 with an ubeaen splendid 102 runs by Sanud Randinu and Yohan Liyanage 63 and Lakmal Sandun urbeaten on 55 were the ohter chief run getters.
