Sithum Niranga of Loyola College, Bopitiya came up with a superb performance in a table tennis tournament worked off at the S. Thomas’ College, Mount Lavinia recently. The tournament was organized by the Women’s Working Group Table Tennis Association to celebrate International Women’s day. Sithum Niranga participated in two events became Champion of the Intermediate Men’s event by defeating Danuk Lamasuriya of Ananda College, Colombo. He Also became runner-up of the Open Men’s single event.
Sithum is training under his coach LeshanTharaka and determined to do better in the future.
