Zahira College Colombo Batch of 95 conducted an Inter-Batch Six-a-Side Softball Cricket Tournament at the Moors Sports Club Grounds, Colombo recently. Thirteen teams participated, namely, 95 Winners, ZCF 95, Dangerous 95, ZATS 95, Metrix 95, Youngers 95, Stars 95, 98 Rugby Legends, Champions 95, Kings 95, Golden 95, Winners 95 and ZSC 95.
ZCF 95 team scored 104 runs for two wickets against Kings 95 team who scored 99 runs for three wickets in the final.
ZCF 95 team captain Arhad Ibarahim received the Best Bowler award from M. Azar. The Best Batsman award was won by Mohamed Muhseen (ZCF 95 team). He received the trophy from Mohamed M.K. Hassan, Coordinating Secretary to Minister Ravi Karunanayake.
Mohamed Feroz of Kings 95 team was adjudged the Man of the Series and received the award from Project Chairman Shihan Safardeen. Runners-Up Kings 95 team captain Mohamed Jahaz received the award from president of the Batch of ’95 Naveez Marzook.
