D.S. Senanayake meet Mahanama in semis today

D.S. Senanayake College Colombo will meet their arch rival Mahanama College Colombo in the semi finals of the ‘Singer Trophy’ Under 17 Division One inter schools cricket tournament at Bloomfield today.

D.S. Senanayake College advanced to the second round as runner up in their group in the first round. Mahanama College advanced to the second round as group champion in the first round.

D.S. Senanayake College Colombo beat St. Sylvester’s College Kandy and Mahanama College Colombo beat De Mazenod College Kandana in the pre quarterfinals. D.S. Senanayake College Colombo beat Nalanda College Colombo and Mahanama College Colombo beat Royal College Colombo in the quarterfinals.

Maneendra Jayathilake will captain D.S. Senanayake College and Pawan Rathnayake is the skipper of Mahanama Colombo.
