The Sainthamaruthu Miandad Sports Club celebrated their 30th anniversary and felicitation ceremony at the Bawa Royale Reception Hall, Sainthamaruthu recently.
Sainthamaruthu Miandad Sports Club President A.Fais organized the ceremony while the Law and Order Ministry former Addl. Secretary, Public Service Commission Member and Senior Sri Lanka Administrative Service (SLAS) Officer A.L.M.Saleem graced the occasion as Chief Guest.
The best batsman, best bowler and best all rounder of the year 2020 and 2021 were honoured with mementoes at the ceremony. The contributors for the development of the club from the last 30 years and social workers and activists too were honoured.
The South Eastern University of Sri Lanka (SEUSL) Faculty of Applied Sciences Senior Lecturer Dr.A.M.Razmy, Attorney-at-law N.M.A.Mujeeb, Al-Amana Social Forum President A.L.Abdul Fareed, Sainthamaruthu Multi Purpose Co-operative Society Ltd (MPCS) Board of Management President M.M.Udumalebbe and Sainthamaruthu Miandad Sports Club Chairman and Business Magnet J.M.Kalith participated as the other guests at the ceremony.
