CDB sponsored MCA Open Cricket Sixes 2019 concludes successfully

The CDB sponsored ‘MCA open cricket sixes challenge trophy 2019’ concluded its final match at the MCA cricket grounds on Sunday. Despite constant showers, during play, MAS Silueta emerged champions beating LB Finance by 4 wickets.

In the final LB Finance batted first, scoring 70/4 with Angelo Perera being the top contributor with a knock of 24 runs. Chasing down the target of 71 in 5 overs, Nimenda from Silueta led the way with the highest individual score of the match hitting 26 of their eventual 74/2 total.

Citizens Development Business Finance PLC sponsored the MCA open cricket sixes for the third consecutive year establishing its commitment towards sports.

Dharshana Jayasinghe, Deputy General Manager CDB, Sasindra Munasinghe, Director Sales and Business Development CDB, President of the MCA Roshan Iddamalgoda, Nalin Wickramasinghe -Chairman of the Sponsorship Committee MCA and Sujeewa de Silva of the Tournament committee - chairman MCA, participated at the awards ceremony.
