Brendon Cricket Club qualified for the quarter-finals of the Western Province Division three cricket tournament and for the Western Province Knock out tournament when they defeated Muthuwella Sports Club by four wickets.
In the first round they beat Victory Cricket Club Colombo Roger Cricket Club, Nondescripts Cricket Club “D” and Ananda Cricket Club and lost to Bloomfield and drew with Colombo Smash Cricket Club.
In their second round they defeated Old Senanayake Cricket Club and finally Muthuwella Sports Club by four wickets.
