A blitz from the top order batsmen including Tanzid Hasan helped Bangladesh Under19 to a 6-wicket win against a gritty UAE Under19 side at at the Free Trade Zone grounds at Katunayake.
Tanzid Hasan got Bangladesh Under19 off to an aggressive start, scoring 45 runs off 27 deliveries with three boundaries and four sixes. Rain had reduced the game to 45 overs and chasing a target of 128, Bangladesh cruised to a comfortable win with 141 balls to spare.
