St. Joseph’s record third win

Defending champions St. Joseph’s College, Colombo recorded their third win in their second round fixtures of the Singer Trophy Under 17 Division One inter-school cricket tournament yesterday.

S. Thomas’ College, Mt. Lavinia recorded their second win in the second round.

Yasiru Rodrigo of S. Thomas’ College and Dunith Wellalage of St. Joseph’s College Colombo produced match-winning performances with the ball. Left arm paceman Yasiru Rodrigo of S. Thomas’ College captured 7 wickets for 20 runs against Maliyadeva College while left arm leg spinner Dunith Wellalage of St. Joseph’s College claimed 5 wickets for 7 runs against Dharmaraja College.
