A one-day kids’ athletic training camp for teachers of the Grade 3,4 and 5th standard segments, was held at Addalaichenai An-Noor Maha Vidyalaya play grounds recently. Akkaraipattu Educational Zone School Sports Development Project (SSDP) Coordinator A.L.Faiz was organized the programme.
The coaching team was well known coaches and Physical Education Teachers J.Fasmeer and A.L.Ajmal. Short run, sprint hurdles, breaking balloons, mixed relay, kids javelin, stop jump, cross hopping, forward squat and shooting were some of the kids’ games were explained. Meanwhile, the Annual kids’ athletic competition for Addalaichenai Divisional Schools conducted by Eastern Province Education Department is due to be held on September 01.
