The Inter-province Badminton championships conducted by Western Province Badminton Association will be held on 31st August and 1st September at the Mercantile Badminton Stadium Colombo 07.
This will be the second time this tournament is being conducted by the Western PBA. Last time Western Province emerged champions while Southern Province became the runner up.
This time more entries from all provinces have been received including Northern and Eastern Provinces.
men's and women's singles, doubles, and mixed doubles will be conducted in this tournament. However, one player would be entitled to take part in one event only. Food and accommodation would be provided to outstation participants from August 30th to September 1st evening.
The organisers are planning to give certificates and T-shirts for all participants while winners and runners up will receive cash awards.
