Thurstan College advanced to the quarterfinal of the Singer Trophy Under 19 Division One inter-schools 2-day knock-out cricket tournament yesterday with a first innings win against St. Servatius College Matara in the pre quarter final.
Thurstan will be meet Nalanda College in the quarter final.
In another pre-quarterfinal match begun yesterday at Moratuwa, St. Sebastian's College Moratuwa were in command against Maris Stella College Negombo. The match will be continued today on day two.
