Second successive century by Chamod

The under 19 cricket poolist Chamod Sandaru scored his second successive century with a hurricane 102 runs in their inter school first eleven cricket match against Dharmaloka College Kelaniya played at Piliyandala. However visitors were able to put a halt to Centralians unbeaten record for this season with a 102 run first innings win.

Chamod who passed the 600 run mark this season is in fine form and hit eleven fours and six sixes and occupied the crease fro 130 minutes and faced 120 balls and also was associated in a third wicket partnership of 156 runs with Heshan Madushanka who scored 59 runs.

Batting first homesters were all out for 220 runs with Heshan Madushanka scoring 57 runs and Hasindu Pumal taking 4 for 34 runs and in reply Dharmaloka scored 322 runs with Irusha Ramanayake 58 and Shenal Deenantha unbeaten on 71 runs and at stumps Centralians were 187 for 4.
