British School unbeaten in Under 13 Cricket Tourney

British School Under-13 Cricket Team

The British School in Colombo have put up a fine performance to remain unbeaten in the second-round of the ongoing Under 13 Inter-Schools Division Three Cricket Tournament.

They trounced Thurstan College by an innings and 107 runs and followed it up with some outstanding performances in the fixtures against Royal College, Moratu MV, M. D. H. Jayawardana Vidyalaya and Vidyadeepa MV respectively.

Results:

(British School beat Thurstan College by innings and 107 runs)

British School: 220/2 (Threen Gulavita 106 n.o, Kenneth De Silva 47, Rajeev Navarathnem 35)

Thurstan: 65 (James Graham 3/22, Shashrik Vijayakumar 2/10, Kavya Shukla 2/1) and 48 (James Graham 4/15, Diyath Kularathne 3/6, Kavya Shukla 2/3).

(British School drew with Royal College)

British School: 239/8 (Kavya Shukla 92, Shehzad Younus 22, James Graham 28)

Royal: 174/6 (James Graham 4/32).

(British School drew with Moratu MV)

British School: 86 and 99/6 (Kavya Shukla 47 n.o) Moratu MV: 86 (Sehath Srikanth 4/21, Sharin Junaidin 4/21) and 16/2.

(British School drew with M. D. H. Jayawardana Vidyalaya)

British School: 156 (Kavya Shukla 80, Kenneth De Silva 20) and 96/5 (Kavya Shukla 56)

M. D. H. Jayawardana Vidyalaya: 163 (James Graham 2/48, Sharin Junaidin 2/31).
