Bandula Seneweera and Edward Perera with the highest percentage of 73.92% emerged winners in the Open Pairs Duplicate Bridge Tournament conducted by the Nugegoda Bridge Club at the Sinhalese Sports Club recently. The tournament was organized to mark Nugegoda Bridge Club's first year anniversary. There were 34 pairs representing the Womens’International, Kandy, Moratuwa, Gampaha, Nugegoda and Vajira Bridge Clubs. Asantha De Mel and Dr HHJ Keerthisena (65.14%) won the second place. The tournament Director was Rex Perera.
