A magnificent 100 runs by Kemendra Ranasinghe enabled Royal College, Colombo to beat Kottawa Dharmapala Vidyalaya by 55 runs on first innings in their Inter School under 15 division three second round tournament cricket match worked off at Colombo.
Batting initially Royalist piled up 244 for 7 and Uvin Devanarayana and Vinuk Muthumal too contributed 52 and 45 runs respectively. Keshan Geeth captured 4 for 61 for the visitors.
In reply Kottawa Dharmapala did well to score 189 for 3 in 60 overs with Maduka Ravishan 53 and Sasanka Nethmina unbeaten on 56 runs.
