Women’s cricketers off to Zimbabwe

Sri Lanka women's cricket team led by Chamari Atapattu left yesterday to take part in the world cup qualifying tournament in Zimbabwe which is scheduled to commence from 23rd.This is the first assignment of Hashan Tillekaratne after appointed Head coach of the team. Harshita Madaw,i the deputy skipper for the first time and three new comers Imesha Dulani, Vishmi Rajapaksa and Sachini Nissansala are included in the team. Sri Lanka will play their first qualifier game against Netherland on 23rd. Here the team poses a picture before their departure at Katunayake Air Port. (D.R)
