Major Club limited over semis continue today

The two semi finals of the Major Clubs limited over cricket tournament which did not complete due to bad weather yesterday will be continue today according to the SLC tournament rules as reserve day on today.

At Maggona Surrey grounds Tamil Union made 242 all out in their 50 overs and game called off due to bad weather after Tamil Union innings and it will be continued today with Army SC innings. Tamil Union skipper Sadeera Samarawickrama top scored 50 while opener Navod Paranavithana hit 49 and Heshan Hettiarachchi was the pick of the bowlers with 3 for 42 .

Meanwhile the second semi final between Ragama CC and NCC also halted due to bad weather after Ragama CC scoring 114 for five wickets in 31 overs .

The winners of these two semi finals will be featured in the final tomorrow 30 at P Sara Oval grounds. (D.R)
