U-19 Men’s residential training camp

Sri Lanka will compete in the U-19 World Cup

A residential training camp for the 26-member Sri Lanka Under-19 Squad, selected in preparation for the upcoming inbound tours, Under-19 Asia Cup and the Under-19 World Cup, commenced in Colombo yesterday.

The 22-day training camp will be conducted at the SSC, Colombo under a bio-bubble environment.

The youngsters will go through skills training, fitness, match scenarios and finish the camp by playing three 50 over games. In addition to the on-field focus, the players will also take part in personal development activities during the programme.

The residential training programme will be conducted by the newly appointed Under-19 Coach Avishka Gunawardene, Upul Chandana (Fielding), Chamila Gamage (Fast Bowling), Sachith Pathirana (Spin Bowling) and Dhammika Sudarshana (Batting) along with the support staff.
