The Chess Federation of Sri Lanka (CFSL) will conduct the Online Youth Chess Championship for Under-8 Boys’ and Girls’ on September 14 and 15.
All players born after January 1, 2013 are eligible to participate in this event, which will also serve as the selection event for the Western Asian Youth Chess Championship 2021 to be held next week. The players can play in this event only with their laptops or desktops and are not allowed to stand up during the game or bring any outsider to the playing room.
