Three players, Dinushki Premanath, Sanudula Dahamdi and Sachini Ranasinghe have been named by the National Selection Committee of Chess to participate in the Online Asian Women’s Rapid Chess Championship 2021 to be held on 23rd, 24th and 25th of August at the Tornelo Platform.
According to the President of the Chess Federation Luxman Wijesuriya they were the top three players at the Special Selection Tournament which was held for selecting the Sri Lanka National Chess Team recently.
The Online Asian Women’s Chess Championship 2021 conducted by the Asian Chess Federation will have nine rounds in Swiss System a total of 70 players from 13 countries have registered for the event.
