The SLC Invitational T20 League Cricket Tournament schedule has been revised by Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) as a precautionary measure following the identification of COVID-19 cases in the Team Hotel in Kandy.
As a result, the remaining four matches of the tournament will be played on August 21 and 22 with the final scheduled for August 24 at the Pallekele Stadium in Kandy.
Some of the hotel staff were tested positive following the PCR tests done on August 17 and therefore, SLC made arrangements to relocate the four teams into two different hotels in Kandy. After eight matches, SLC Greys are on top of the points table with eight points having won all four games.
The revised match schedule:
August 21: SLC Greens vs SLC Blues at 2.30 p.m. SLC Greys vs SLC Reds at 7.00 p.m. August 22: SLC Greys vs SLC Blues at 2.30 p.m. SLC Greens vs SLC Reds at 7.00 p.m.
August 24: Final at 7.00 p.m.
