Financial aid for squash, rowing from Sports Ministry

Amal Edirisooriya, Director General of the Sports Development Department of the Ministry of Sports exchanged the agreement documents with SLSF President Suren Kohobange

The Sri Lanka Squash Federation (SLSF) and the Sri Lanka Rowing Association (SLRA) received financial assistance from the Ministry of Sports during a ceremony held in Colombo recently.

The SLRA received a sum of Rs 42,143,249.00 while the SLSF received a sum of Rs 52,400,900.00 in preparation for next year’s Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, England and the Asian Games in China.

SLRA President Dimuth Gunawardena and SLSF President Suren Kohobange received the official agreement documents from Amal Edirisooriya, Director General of the Sports Development Department of the Ministry of Sports. The Sports Minister Namal Rajapaksa was also present on this occasion.
