Football elections rescheduled for June 22

Football Sri Lanka (FSL) elections, which has been postponed thrice because of the COVID-19 pandemic and travel restrictions, has been rescheduled for June 22 at the Racecourse pavilion.

The three-member election committee comprising retired judges Rohini Munasinghe, Sisira Rathnayake and Sarojina Weerawardena are hopeful the FSL elections could be held on June 22.

Meanwhile, the elections of the Sri Lanka Taekwondo and Carrom Federations are scheduled to be held on June 28 and 29 respectively. The election dates for the Hockey and Powerlifting Federations are yet to be finalised due to a Court order while the Netball Federation elections have been postponed.
