Prsansa Premanath of Girls High School and Oneli Vithanawasam of Lyceum International School Wattala were in the lead with four points each out of possible four games in the CFSL Online Youth (Under 18Yrs) Rapid Chess Championship which now in progress at the Chess.com flatform. Prasansa beat Esandi Newansa, Minuli Kumarasinghe, Deandi Hihansa Gamage and Sayumi Gamage while Oneli beat Hasandi Akuratiya, Miyuni Jayasinghe, Tenuli Dahamna Rathnayake and Nemindi Linaya Ramanayake in first four rounds and are meeting each other in the fifth round tomorrow.
Four players, Desandi Dihansa Gamage(Sirimavo Bandaranayake Vidyalaya), Sayumi Gamage(Musaeus College), Esandi Newansa (Dharmasoka Vidyalaya) and Piyumi Uthpala Amarathunga(JMC International School, Kalutara) are in the second spot with three points each.
CFSL Online Youth (Under 18Yrs) Rapid Chess Championship 2021 is being conducted by the Chess Federation of Sri Lanka(CFSL).
