Sri Lanka’s premier leg-spinner Wanindu Hasaranga has signed with St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots for the first time to play in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) T20 Cricket Tournament 2021.
The CPL 2021 will see all matches being played at the Warner Park in St. Kitts & Nevis from August 28 to September 19.
Two other Sri Lankan senior players Thisara Perera and Isuru Udana have also been picked for this year’s CPL.
Recently retired all-rounder Perera has been drafted by Barbados Tridents while Udana has been picked for the Trinbago Knight Riders Team.
A total of 101 players have been signed by the six teams for the 2021 edition of the franchise tournament.
Meanwhile, Perera and Seekkuge Prasanna are already in the UAE for the Pakistan Super League 2021.
