Financial assistance for volleyball coaches

The Super League Tournament will be conducted after the COVID-19 pandemic

The Sri Lanka Volleyball Federation (SLVF) is planning to grant a monthly payment for the coaches who are involved in the National Volleyball Pool.

According to a senior official of the SLVF, this will be the first time that this type of a payment is granted for volleyball coaches on a permanent basis.

The local coaches, assistant coaches and the trainers of the National Pool are eligible to receive this payment.

The SLVF is also hoping to grant this payment for the coaches of the Men’s and Women’s beach volleyball team as well.

In addition, the SLVF is planning to conduct the Super League Men’s Volleyball Tournament after the COVID-19 pandemic.

Two foreign players will be allowed to represent each team during this tournament. Meanwhile, the National Volleyball Pool practices, which were scheduled to resume on June 1 has been postponed once again and the new dates will be notified later.
